Central Flight Training is ideally located in the Midlands area of the UK to provide the best quality basic, advanced and professional flight training for students from around the country. Our base at Tatenhill airfield offers a quiet environment in which to study without delays and costs often associated with larger airfields. With access to a large and superbly equipped fleet of aircraft – maintained on site, we are able to focus entirely on delivering your commercial flight training course.

Our dedicated team of instructors have between them many years of experience in providing flight training at all levels, and together are able to offer a comprehensive range of services, whether it be a first flight experience through to Examiner training. In all aspects you will find us approachable and committed to helping you achieve your dream.

As a small flight training organisation, we have the flexibility to offer any course on a personal basis with no more than two students per instructor, allowing us to deliver the best and most comprehensive course possible - we believe this is evident in our excellent first series pass rates across all our courses.

Single Engine CPL

Central Flight Training - SE CPL
  • Central Flight Training is currently making discounts available for intensive, full time Single Engine CPL course students.
  • Our Single Engine CPL course can be tailored to meet your needs and prior experience, ranging from an all-complex aircraft course using our superbly equipped glass cockpit PA24 to a split between simple single and complex types.
  • SE CPL price is only £5500.00 and includes all ground and flight instruction, and home landing fees.

Multi Engine Piston (MEP)

Central Flight Training - MEP Course
  • Central Flight Training has a spring offer on Multi Engine Piston (MEP) Class Rating courses.
  • The package includes 6 hours flight time and a minimum of 7 hours of ground instruction with one of our approved instructors.
  • The course comprises airbourne and ground handling techniques, normal and emergency procedures. The course flown in one of our MEP types is priced at £2400.00 and includes all flight and ground training.
  • Discounts are available for full-time, midweek courses

Renewals Package

Central Flight Training - Renewals
  • At Central Flight Training, we offer a complete package for revision training & rating renewals.
  • Packages are available for Single Engine (SEP) & Multi Engine (MEP) (Land) Class Ratings, Instrument Ratings (IR-SPA) and Flight Instructor Ratings, aswell as Examiner re-authorisations.
  • Depending on your individual requirements, we will tailor a course of refresher training designed to address any areas where specific revision is needed, before conducuting the proficiency check or skill test with one of our resident approved flight examiners.
